Habitat Gardens had a complex, yet fun challenge of accommodating several ideas in the back yard of this 5,000 square foot lot in NE Portland. We built a beautiful, covered structure extension to match the home’s siding and roofing to appear like part of the original build. A chic shed and attached pergola for a quiet back yard escape replaced an old garage. The shed features two entryways: one leading into a greenhouse and raised garden beds and the other going to a patio with swinging chairs. The lush, colorful and inviting garden completes this urban backyard oasis.
