We work closely with clients to create unique designs reflecting individual styles and tastes for thriving Pacific Northwest gardens.

Designing gardens is a collaborative process that stems from your desires, needs, and vision to best plan and use of your landscape. Your tastes and goals inform every step of the design and installation process. We discuss different options to help clarify your design vision, intended level of involvement in garden maintenance, and budget.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a novice, we use our skills and experience to create beautiful landscapes for your aesthetic. We also encourage creating native habitats for an environment you’ll enjoy for years to come.

Specialties include:

  • Hand-drawn + electronic landscaping plans (to scale)

  • Four-season, low-maintenance gardens

  • Naturescaping with Northwest native + drought tolerant plants

  • Rain gardens

  • Edible gardens + raised beds

  • Hardscapes, patios, paths, stonework

  • Child + dog friendly gardens

  • Garden sheds + structures

  • Garden editing – we work with what you have + scale / improve upon it!

Habitat Gardens implements all phases of landscaping and garden plans – whether it’s our plan, your plan, or another designer’s. We also install hardscapes, fences, pergolas, raised garden beds, rain gardens, and attractive, low-maintenance plantings and gardens. In larger projects we sometimes work with subcontractors and can provide project management.

All of our installation clients are offered a twice-yearly maintenance package which includes garden editing as needed, and transplanting, mulching, weeding, and seasonal preparation.

We offer free project estimates!
